Upcoming Event: “The Continuing Nakba: Voices from the West Bank” Join us for a powerful discussion. See events page for more information and poster.

Palestine needs more than sympathy — it needs action. Join in calling for::

  • an end to all weapons coming from Canada that are used in Israel
  • sanctions and accountability for war crimes,
  • end Israeli apartheid regime
  • implementation of international law, including ICC and ICJ rulings.
  • Sign petitions, contact your MP, join delegations and keep sustained pressure on those in power.;
  • SUPPORT THE BOYCOTT, DIVESTMENT AND SANCTIONS (BDS) MOVEMENT.
  • Demand the immediate suspension of Israel from the UN.

Why your voice matters – It has become clear that justice will not come from those in seats of power; from our governments. What is needed is a grassroots non-violent revolution with all who are for human rights and international law; where the humanity of all are valued. “Liberation is not a gift we wait for — it’s a right we demand together.” Stephen Kappos, Holocaust survivor and Palestine advocate.

The prisons for Palestinians are a living hell according to a new report by B’Tselem, the Israeli Center for Human Rights in the occupied territories.

Many of the injustices committed against Palestinians combine the use of night arrests and military prisons to traumatize children most of all.  Obaida Jawabra, the subject of a film by Defence for Children, Palestine, was shot and killed by Israeli forces.) See No Way to Treat a Child and unjppi.ca/taking-action/stand-up-for-palestinian-childrens-rights for more information. We need people committed to writing letters to our MPs and help end the military detention of children.
